We purchased Lilly from Cadogans boxers in Dubuque this summer. She is a pure white boxer (not albino) and has wonderful hearing and vision despite the common misconception that all white boxers are born deaf and blind.  We will be breeding Lilly to our classic brindle male Rocky as to avoid getting all white puppies out of her future litters. White boxers are still able to be fully registered with the akc as are all akc puppies produced by an all white parent. The reason we do not try to intentionally breed for all white boxers is because boxers that are more than 30% white are ineligible for akc conformation shows and occasionally lack pigmentation of the hairs of the inner ear which can cause deafness. A white boxer who lacks this pigmentation will be deaf from birth and a white boxer that can hear young is no more likely to lose their hearing than any other color of dog. Genetically white is not its own color the all white occurs from a heavy distribution of white on an otherwise "flashy" fawn or brindle boxer. Lilly is beautifully proportioned from head to tail she has a nice square head short nose and a stocky frame. She has a bouncy friendly personality that wins over everyone that meets her we are very excited to have her join us here at aces top boxers.
